The ABC's of Beekeeping


Not only is raw honey one of nature's most powerful super foods, but it can be easily produced in your own backyard. Come find out what it takes to harvest honey, as pure and local as it comes!  In this class we'll discuss three main parts of beekeeping, including the life of bees, all about the hive, and how to maintain a healthy colony.

We'll look inside a hive as we walk through the set-up and care needed. Then we'll review useful tools and equipment to help you and your bees produce amazing honey. Whether you are ready to take the plunge or just starting to think about it, we can help you learn what it takes and how to begin a dynamic hobby that yields healthy, delicious results!

Mark recommends ordering bees by February so this a great time to make your bee plan for next year.
