The Family Milk Cow

A great addition to any homestead, a family cow can provide a wonderful supply of fresh milk, but also requires a big investment of time, money and knowledge. Farmer Shayn will give a general overview as he shares his expertise & insight on everything from choosing a breed, milking, nutrition, health care, and behavior. Learn how to keep your animal healthy, happy, and productive to enjoy not only the milk from your cow, but the additional benefits this beautiful bovine can bring to your family.

(Class availability is limited to ten people in order to give everyone the opportunity for a hands-on experience.)
